Done Properly
Most dog boarding in Sudbury means one of two things: a commercial kennel where your dog is one of many, or a random sitter you found online. Max and Joy is neither.
We run a home-based boarding service from our house in Greater Sudbury. Your dog comes to us, lives inside our home for the duration of their stay, and follows a proper daily routine including walks, play, rest, and outdoor time. They sleep in a comfortable bed (not a cage), and they are never left unattended.
We cap our boarding at 3 to 4 dogs maximum. Every dog is vaccinated, temperament-checked, and introduced properly before any stay begins. We have turned bookings away when the group dynamic was not right. We will always do that.
