Our Story
We Are Dog People.
The Business Came After.
Max and Joy started the way most real things do — out of a problem we couldn’t solve any other way. We needed reliable, trustworthy care for our own dog and couldn’t find it. Commercial kennels felt wrong. Large daycare facilities were chaotic. The rotating staff at most places meant our dog was always meeting someone new.
So we built what we wanted to find. A home-based setup with a small group, consistent caregivers, and a calm environment that actually respects how dogs work. We started taking in a few dogs we knew and the word spread from there.
The moment we realised we were onto something was when owners told us their dogs were actually excited to come over. Not just tolerating it. Excited.
We are based in Greater Sudbury and we work with a maximum of 3 to 4 dogs at any one time. That is not a starting point we plan to grow beyond. The small group is the entire point. It is what makes the experience different for the dogs and it is what lets us do this properly.
We have experience with anxious dogs, reactive dogs, and dogs that have struggled in other care setups. We understand dog behaviour and body language. When something is not right in a group dynamic, we notice it early and respond accordingly. We have turned bookings away when the fit was not right and we will always do that.
This is not a side project. Dog care is what we do and we take it seriously.
What We Stand For

Honesty Over Bookings
If our service is not the right fit for your dog, we will tell you. We would rather lose a booking than take on a dog we cannot genuinely serve well.

Small on Purpose
Capping at 3 to 4 dogs is a deliberate choice. A smaller group means less stress, more attention, and caregivers who are actually present and engaged with each dog.

Consistent Care
Same people, same environment, same routine. We know how much consistency matters to dogs and we build our whole operation around it.

Real Communication
Daily photo updates are standard, not optional. You will always know how your dog is doing without needing to chase us for a response.

We come to your door. GPS-tracked walks with a photo update after every session. 30 or 60-minute options, no contracts.
From $22 + HST per walk
Doggy Daycare
Your dog comes to our home for the day. Structured routine, outdoor time, rest periods, and consistent caregivers.
Dog Boarding
Overnight stays in our actual home. Your dog lives here while you travel, with a proper daily routine and daily photos.
