General
  • It depends on the service. Dog walking is the only service where we come to your door. For doggy daycare, dog boarding, and pet sitting, your dog comes to our home in Greater Sudbury. Caring for dogs in our own space lets us keep the group small, the environment calm, and the routine consistent.

  • We have a firm cap of 3 to 4 dogs at any one time. This applies to both daycare and boarding without exception. A smaller group means less stress for the dogs, more individual attention, and caregivers who are genuinely engaged with each dog rather than managing a crowd.

  • Yes, for every new dog before their first daycare session or boarding stay. You bring your dog to our home, they explore the space and meet us, and we assess compatibility with the current group. It takes about 30 minutes and makes the first actual session go much more smoothly.

  • Your dog must be up to date on core vaccinations before any service. We will confirm the specific requirements when you get in touch. All dogs in our care must be vaccinated to protect every animal in the group.

  • Tell us about your dog when you get in touch. Our home-based, small-group model works well for many anxious and reactive dogs because the environment is calm, the group is small, and the caregivers are consistent. We will be honest if we think our service is or is not the right fit.

Doggy Daycare
  • Half day is up to 4 hours and suits appointments or shorter gaps. Full day covers a full working day. Both follow the same structured routine — play, enrichment, rest, and outdoor time. The difference is simply the length of time.

  • Weekly regulars may qualify for a package rate. Ask us when you get in touch. If you need the same day or days each week, we recommend getting in touch early to secure a regular slot before it fills.

  • Completely fine. First-time daycare dogs are welcome. The meet-and-greet helps significantly — your dog gets to explore our home before the first session so the environment is already familiar. We handle first-timers regularly and know how to make the transition smooth.

Dog Boarding
  • In a kennel your dog is one of many in a commercial facility, often in a run or cage, with staff changing throughout the day. With us, your dog lives in our actual home with a maximum of 3 to 4 other dogs and the same caregivers for the entire stay. It is a completely different experience.

  • Bring your dog's own food portioned per meal if possible, any medications with clear written instructions, a collar with ID tags, and a comfort item from home if they have one. Familiar items help dogs settle more easily in a new environment.

  • Multi-night discounts are available for longer stays. Ask us about this when you get in touch to book and we will work out a rate that makes sense for the length of time you need.

Dog Walking
  • We keep walking groups small and matched by temperament and energy. If your dog does better solo, let us know when you book and we will accommodate that. We do not put dogs together on walks without knowing how they interact.

  • Drop-off in the morning, then morning playtime with the group, enrichment and mental stimulation activities, a proper rest period at midday, outdoor and backyard time in the afternoon, and a wind-down before pickup. Photos are sent during the day. We do not run a non-stop activity centre — rest is a deliberate and important part of the routine.
